The Wheel of Fortune represents the fortune related to the
unexpected. This is fate, or the manifestation of the consequences of your past
doing, also called Karma. In this earth, we have free will to act or react to
life's events in the way we chose to be the most appropriate, and always
according to the way we feel within, whether is good or bad. However, we remain
the only responsible for the consequences of our actions.
The Wheel of Fortune, usually comes up in
Tarot readings to bring up good luck. However, at times the consequences of
wrong past doing are ready and mature to manifest in the life of a certain
individual. In this case yet, we don't necessarily want to attribute negative
values to this card, as we all know that from negative events there is always
the blessing of life's lessons.
The four letters on the Wheel are spelling TARO,
going in a clockwise direction, as all our actions are always moving forward
with time. In between these letters, we have the symbols of the four
elements.
The four elements, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, are
the vibratory component that influences our actions in life's situations, such
as a sense of security, thoughts of the mind, nature, levels of energy, and
finally Emotions.
When a person has the tendency to act in a constant
negative way, often is because something is holding him/her back in the past,
to the point that the individual becomes stuck, not able to move forward but
rather, going to develop more insecurities and negative thoughts in spite of
fear. Also, more negative energy (which is always destructive), with more negative
emotions. In this particular case, this person is moving counterclockwise on
the Wheel of Fortune.
By moving counterclockwise on the Wheel, one can only
receive the gifts of the many lessons available in the universe, to be able to
spiritually evolve by learning before moving forward, in order to weak up to
the realization of the power in the present moment that moves always and only
forward towards new days, or clockwise with The Wheel of Fortune. In fact, what
we call "bad luck", is only the opportunity to learn how to evolve
and spiritually grow, resetting the Wheel to spin clockwise.
- ELEMENT: FIRE
- Associated with Jupiter (Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, Taurus)
- The number 10 on this card represents the result of the individual's accomplishment doing something, as Karma. In numerology this number becomes 1 (1+0). The number 1 represents leadership, or the beginning of a new situation from which one can learn and spiritually grow. New days ahead and good luck.
